If I had known what I know now then I wouldn't have bought it. The can bus remote control is hopeless and awkward and now the io5-play is out fitting in the standard bmw navigator mount and with scroll functionality on the wonderwheel as standard. I was not informed by Chigee for the bmw version to come out when I bought the io5-lite in March 2024, those camera's coming with it I find no reason for using them, downloading 2 minute files on you smartphone takes ages and then you smartphone is packed to capacity, ánd you do need wifi to download. The io5--play would be the right choice but now I am stuck with a fixed fitted version with less functionality and useless camera's. I would happily disasemble the io5-lite version for selling and buy the io5-play instead, or perhaps the Capuride 7 inch screen. Anyone interested in a slightly used second hand io5-lite with can bus remote control, tire pressure sensors and screen protector?

Well, to be honest I really feel scammed by Chigee. I have bought and installed the IO5-Lite on my 1250GS with the CGRC can bus remote control last March, now I see the IO5-Play is out, fitting in the native bmw navigation cradle and with SCROLL functionality on the wonderwheel, which I don't have with the CGRC can bus remote control. To say that I feel cheated is the understatement of the century, to be honest I really feel fucked about this, you cannot have scroll functionality on the can bus remote control. I really feel the urge to rip the chigee off my bike, no use for those camera's with that awkward app to download 2 minute clips which takes ages to download. Absolutely disappointing chinese cheap shit.

Hello, The Old Mechanic. I need your help. You mentioned that with the Motoscan I can invert or rather program the bike to use LEDs. I want to change it to LED but I don't know where exactly I should go on the motoscan to be able to reverse it. because when I installed the LEDs on mine (BMW r1200rt 2009) it gave me a warning that the lights weren't working and suddenly it turned off. Can you please make a video or give some instructions on how to do it?

Hello Mr. Old mechanic, could you make an electrical circuit with a twilight sensor that can leave only the LED position lights on even with the engine running? Then with an electric button on the handlebar you can switch to normal mode.

Greetings from Winnipeg Canada. I just recently went to my BMW dealer with my 2007 R1200gs for a new rear TPMS sensor. First they told me that sensors were no longer available for my bike and then when I talked with their service advisor they pretty much told me I was screwed and there was nothing they could do for me. After watching a few of your videos on the motoscan app I decided to download the app (Ultimate version) and purchase the connector, OBDlink LX interface, wake up tool and a pair of Chinese sensors all from amazon for less money than the original cost of a new OEM sensor if I could indeed find one. I am happy to say that I was able to relearn the new sensor and re programmed the Kombi unity to display in PSI rather than BARs which I can never relate to. LOL. Thanks for making these videos, it has helped me immensely. Cheers! PS, next time I'm in my dealer I will suggest that they start watching You Tube channels and learn something.
